Annnd…Action! Photo Booth Goes Pink for October 2021
In support of October 2021, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Annnd…Action! Photo Booth is going pink. We’ve gone pink, but not because we’re embarrassed! It’s because Breast Cancer is, unfortunately, a cause near and very dear to our owner and our entire team.
As a woman-owned business, our team is inherently aware of the enormous impact a breast cancer diagnosis has on women and their families, and their friends. It’s a disease which attacks 1 in 8 women in their lifetime, according to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Just this year alone, an estimated 281,550 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women in the U.S., as well as 49,290 new cases of non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer. An estimated 43,600 women will die from breast cancer in the U.S. in 2021.*
To this end, we try to bring awareness and bring our support by donating to research organizations, encouraging regular mammograms and staying pink all October long.
